“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.” It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?” Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
“I honor and bow to the Divine Light in you which is also in me.”
The Namaste greeting symbolizes returning to one’s heart, inner self, honoring and embracing the unity and wholeness with the world around us and within ourselves, thus opening the space for harmony and peace, health and happiness. Yet, by turning away from our true nature, by closing up and building shields around our hearts we are isolating ourselves from the Divine Light, creating darkness and disharmony that leads us to dissatisfactions, fears, sadness and disease.
A spiritual healing science, Ayurveda, the “Medicine of Gods”, emerged at the time of an auspicious assembly of “holy great sages”* who were inspired to find the proper way to eradicate diseases - the impediments to one’s happy long life, well being and spiritual growth. With its mission to promote and sustain life, health and happiness by eliminating “diseases of the past, present and future”*, Ayurveda, through purification of body and mind, is meant to bring out the light of our higher Self and helps us to achieve our full potential as spiritual human beings.
It is an honor and blessing to have the opportunity to learn, experience and continue the tradition that has been around for more than 5,000 years, the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, that was passed onto us from the holy sages and has been kept alive since from generation to generation. I am thankful to all my teachers for sharing this sacred knowledge, their devotion and passion for Ayurveda. I am thankful to my family and my friends in Russia and in America for supporting and encouraging me to follow my path of the heart. And I am thankful to Ayurveda for guiding me and helping me to see, feel and experience Love and Light - the two essentials of a great gift that we call Life.
